The Silver Bars, known for their energetic live performances, has released the new track ‘Headwind’ as a lead-up to their debut album scheduled for summer 2026.

‘Headwind’ was unveiled on February 27, and was produced by Ant Chapman, who has previously worked with Franz Ferdinand and Klaxons.

It follows a string of musical successes for the band, who have been creating a name for themselves in the alternative music scene.

Initially gaining popularity on the local circuit, The Silver Bars quickly expanded their fan base, performing at major festivals like Kendal Calling and YNOT.

They have also supported big names such as Jake Bugg, The Royston Club, and Scouting for Girls.

The Silver Bars’ journey in music has been marked by several highlights.

They’ve been recognised by BBC 6 Music as Pick of the Week, featured on the BBC Sounds Emerging Talent Hotlist, and twice won BBC Introducing Track of the Week.

They have also previously performed on the Calling Out stage at Kendal Calling and have sold 100 limited edition vinyl records.

Comprising of vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Dylan Grafton, keyboard and synth player, Phil McArthur, bassist, Elliott Jones, lead guitarist, Kieran Hackett, and drummer, Matthew Grosvenor, The Silver Bars are preparing for an exciting future.
