When we polled the Pure Xbox community on this topic at the start of the year, we got some really interesting results — based on over 2,300 votes, the majority of you told us that you’d potentially pay $900 (295 votes), $1000 (294 votes) or even more (299 votes) for the next Xbox console, which could end up being the kind of price tag we’re looking at.
Then again, 11.59% of votes (275 exactly) told us that you’d only pay $251-$500, and another 11.59% of you told us that $600 was the maximum you’d consider. In other words, there’s a lot of variation in the final figures here!
That poll has since ended, but we’ll let you have a gander at the full results (just the percentages) below:
How Much Would You Potentially Pay For The Next Xbox Console? (2,373 votes)

Whatever the price tag ends up being, it’s hard to see it as anything less than $500 with Xbox promising the console will “lead in performance”, and realistically we think it’ll cost a fair bit more. Of course, we don’t know if Microsoft has another Xbox Series S-style surprise in the works as an affordable alternative… we’ll have to wait and see!
For now, come and tell us what you think the price will be for the Project Helix Xbox console in the comments below.
