The City head coach provided updates on the fitness of his squad, his thoughts on Neil Adams’ departure, and his views on Leeds.
Clement confirmed the need to manage his squad carefully, with players such as Daniel Grimshaw, Jack Stacey, Harry Darling and Jacob Wright having all been given opportunities in previous rounds.
Amankwah Forson, who has not played since the 1-1 draw at Preston North End in December, is available and provides another option for the trip to Yorkshire.
Pelle Mattsson has trained twice this week and could return to the matchday squad for Wednesday night’s clash against Sheffield United at Carrow Road.
There are no new injuries ahead of Sunday’s game. Clement also provided an update on Oscar Schwartau, who is slightly behind Mattsson in his return to fitness.
He confirmed that captain Kenny McLean is set to play his 300th game for the club in tomorrow’s FA Cup clash, making him only the 24th player to reach the milestone for the Canaries.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Neil Adams will retire from his role as technical director at the end of the season. Clement spoke warmly of Adams, reflecting positively on their time working together.
