The Georgian entry for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest will be released in just a few days time.

Bzikebi, the Georgian act for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, will perform “On Replay”, which is set for release on March 11. At the beginning of this month, the trio was in the recording studio with Giga Kukhianidze, who is the producer behind their song for Vienna.

Giga Kukhianidze is a two-time Junior Eurovision winning songwriter and producer being behind “Mzeo” and “To My Mom” which brought Georgia their two most recent victories in the competition, and is the most prolific songwriter in the history of the competition.

Bzikebi consists of Giorgi Shiolashvili, Mariam Tatulashvili and Mariam Kikuashvili. In 2008, they won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with “Bzz”, the first song in the contest’s history to be performed in an imaginary language and the first of four victories for Georgia in the contest. After the contest, they released the album “Zabuzei”.

Bzikebi returned to Junior Eurovision in 2022, where they took part in an interval act celebrating 20 years of the contest. They also performed as an interval act at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Tbilisi, where they performed the original song “We Don’t Sleep”.

Bzikebi will perform in the first half of the first semi-final on May 12.

Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest+

Georgia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. They were represented by Sopho Khalvashi and the song “Visionary Dream”. Sopho finished 12th in the final scoring 97 points. The song received 12 points from the televoters in Lithuania. Their best result was a 9th place in both 2010 and 2011. Georgia has only ever missed one contest since their debut. This was in 2009, when they had selected Stephane & 3G with “We Don’t Wanna Put In”. The EBU asked the Georgian participants to rewrite the lyrics of the song or change the song completely.
