Wayne Rooney believes that Arsenal have been ‘brilliant’ to watch this season and has urged Mikel Arteta not to listen to the criticism about set-pieces.
The former Premier League striker suggests that the most important thing is winning, and with set-pieces, the Gunners have a formula which other teams cannot stop.
Arsenal fans be honest…are you FED UP of seeing the Gunners score from corners all the time?

Arsenal have been heavily criticised for their way of winning, with many unhappy by the manner in which they are getting over the line in matches.
But right now, Arsenal are seven points clear at the top of the Premier League, and Rooney claims that’s all that matters right now.
Wayne Rooney thinks Arsenal have been ‘brilliant’
Wayne Rooney has hit back at critics who have questioned Arsenal and has labelled Mikel Arteta’s team as ‘efficient’.
“I think Arsenal have been brilliant. Football is played in different ways; you can have Man City of a few years ago, where they were absolutely incredible,” he told the Wayne Rooney Show.
“Arsenal have got a good mix of different players who score goals, they’re hard to play against and keep clean sheets. I actually enjoy watching them play. I think they’re very efficient.

“If you’re not clever enough or you you you haven’t got the players who can deal with that, why would Arsenal not continue to do that? If you see a weakness.
“I love it. I think they’ve been great. I’m sure Arteta doesn’t think this, but they haven’t got to change anything because people are moaning and complaining about it.”
Rooney has backed Arsenal to reach the Champions League final this season, and has also been rooting for them to win the Premier League.
Alan Shearer agrees that Arsenal criticism is unwarranted
Alan Shearer agrees that the criticism of Arsenal is just bizarre, as they are flying in all four competitions this season.
“I’m not having the criticism. I don’t get it. I said before, they finished top of the Champions League group. They’re in the final, they’re in the quarter-final of the FA Cup, they’re seven points clear in the Premier League,” Shearer told The Rest is Football.
“Yet, people are finding a way to criticise them. Do me a favour. Whoever you’re looking at in every position, wherever they are in cup competitions or league or whatever, they’re absolutely flying and forget about any other negative comment, they couldn’t do any better at this moment in time.”
