Round four of Super League is in the books and it’s time to look back on who the star players were as we pick our team of the week.

The table is slowly starting to take place but one thing is clear and that’s that Wigan Warriors are on red hot form with Matt Peet’s side picking up their fourth win from four, meaning they sit atop Super League.

Their rivals Hull KR picked up their first win of the Super League season by beating Huddersfield Giants so it’s perhaps no surprise that five of our thirteen players hail from those two sides.

Eight teams are represented, including two losing sides with Wakefield Trinity the only victors not to have a player selected. Here’s a look at our team of the week and why each man was picked.

Super League round four Team of the Week

Full-back: Tristan Sailor (St Helens)

Having been picked as the six heading into the season, Sailor has been moved back to full-back on account of injuries and it was as if he’d never left. The St Helens man racked up almost 230 metres off a monstrous 28 carries. He also added a try and an assist to his tally in a brilliant performance.

Wing: Maika Sivo (Leeds Rhinos)

At this point, we may as well etch Maika Sivo’s name into this spot permanently as he has been brilliant in each and every game. The winger scored three to take his Super League tally to nine in three which is terrifying for opposition defences.

Centre: Adam Keighran (Wigan Warriors)

Two tries, two assists and eight more points with the boot for Adam Keighran as he continues his strong start to the season.

Centre: Peta Hiku (Hull KR)

Hiku tallied 130 metres and laid on a selfless assist for Tom Davies as Hull KR’s right edge shone against the Giants.

Wing: Connor Wynne (Bradford Bulls)

A Championship player at Fev in 2025 but Connor Wynne is reminding everyone that he well and truly belongs in Super League. The ex-Hull FC man plays above his size and that showed as he grabbed two tries and made almost 120 metres in a very strong showing.

Half-back: Jack Farrimond (Wigan Warriors)

Tasked with replacing Bevan French, who himself replaced Jai Field at full-back, Farrimond stepped into the role seamlessly and came away from the south of France with three try assists. His right foot step had the Olympians running in circles.

Half-back: Mikey Lewis (Hull KR)

Two tries for Magic Mikey as he put Las Vegas behind him, racking up 174 metres thanks to a whopping nine tackle busts.

Prop: Ryan Sutton (Bradford Bulls)

Like Wynne, Sutton is another Bulls man in the team despite suffering a loss. Fitness was the major concern when he signed from the NRL and so far, he’s proved he’s over his injury issues and now it’s all about his class and impact, of which there is plenty. He’s going under the radar as one of the signings of the season so far.

Hooker: Kruise Leeming (Catalans Dragons)

The game changed when Kruise Leeming entered the field on Friday night against Leigh with the Wigan loanee offering so much spark in attack, whilst also racking up 36 tackles. He averaged over 11 metres a carry on his six scoots from dummy half to help break open Leigh’s defence.

Prop: Dean Hadley (Hull KR)

Moved to prop to start the game, Hadley put in another of his impressive performances as he topped the tackle count and made 73 metres off just nine carries.

Second-row: Sam Stone (Warrington Wolves)

Sam Stone has settled in brilliantly at Warrington after initially joining late in 2025 and this performance was another example of that. Not only did the forward score two tries, he also topped the tackle count for Wire and registered an assist.

Second-row: Kallum Watkins (Leeds Rhinos)

Despite Sivo’s hat-trick, it was Watkins who came away with the biggest plaudits for yet another excellent showing. Stats of 33 tackles, 112 metres and one assist can’t be overlooked for the Leeds veteran.

Loose forward: John Asiata (Hull FC)

Another player who was on the losing side but John Asiata showed exactly what Hull FC can be this season. There was such a noticeable difference in their attack when he was on the pitch with the former Leigh man proving influential on the ball. He also made 26 tackles and over 100 metres in his two stints.
