EastEnders’ Alice Haig has become a firm favourite playing Vicki Fowler – but it turns out she has a rather famous mum.

Actress Alice joined the BBC soap last year, taking on the role of Vicki. Fans will recall that Vicki was originally played by Scarlett Alice Johnson and was last seen in 2004.

However, Vicki made her Walford comeback last year, played by Alice. And it didn’t take the character long to get involved in some big storylines.

Especially at the moment, as in Tuesday’s episode (March 10), she found out that her brother Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) has been working with a drug gang, and only returned to the square in January to sniff out a mole that has been informing on the gang.

The mole turned out to be Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) who revealed the truth to Mark at Walford Common, goading him into a brutal fight.

Soon enough, Vicki and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) arrived to intervene and put a stop to Mark’s attack. Talking to Mark, Vicki was shocked to discover the extent of Mark’s involvement in the gang, and worried about her safety.

Away from the soap Vicki actress Alice lives a far less dramatic life. What’s more, it also turns out that she comes from a rather famous family, including two actor parents.

Her mum, Julia Gray, who performs under the stage name Jane Galloway is also an actress, and even appeared on EastEnders in 2006. She played the role of Dr. Weisberg. The TV star has also had minor roles in Doctors, Casualty, The Bill, Bad Girls, and The Vicar of Dibley.
