The Jackson family matriarch is strong, alive and well.
On Tuesday, March 10, Katherine Jackson’s daughter LaToya Jackson, the late Michael Jackson‘s sister, took to Instagram and shared a video of her mother, who will be 96 years old in May.
In the video, the mother and daughter appear to be in a church, and the former is sitting in a wheelchair, wearing a gray and yellow printed dress with a black blazer, and is holding a black Chanel purse on her lap.
The video was quick to delight fans, who took to the comments section under the post and marveled over Mrs. Jackson’s good spirits.
“THE MRS. JACKSON Y’ALL!!!! What a pillar of strength and indomitable rock this woman is,” one wrote, as others followed suit with: “Momma Jackson looking lovely as ever!” and: “Wow 96!! She has seen so much life and how the world has changed so much throughout the years,” as well as: “LEGEND! My GOODNESS!! This is what God’s Grace looks like!!”
Katherine shared Michael, who passed away in 2009, and LaToya, 69, as well as eight other Jackson kids with her late husband Joe Jackson, to whom she was married from 1949 until his death in 2018 aged 88.
