UK govt announces new schemes to help females enter tech industry
The UK government has announced new measures to help more women and girls enter the tech industry. This includes a new programme to support 300 tech roles for females across the UK, through paid 6-month work placements with tech SMEs. This is backed by a new GBP 4 million TechFirst Women’s Programme. The scheme will also provide women with coaching and interview preparation support.
