The works will take place on the four public-use tennis courts at Kensington Gardens – the park and gardens located on Kirkley clifftop, on Lowestoft seafront.

A town council spokesman said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage you to enjoy a game at one of our nearby courts during this time also free at Normanston Park or Denes Oval.

“Thank you for your understanding – we look forward to welcoming you back to some freshly improved courts!”
