Flight schedules continue to be impacted by the conflict in the Middle East

Qatar Airways continues to cancel flights between Manchester Airport and Doha as conflict in the Middle East continues to impact flight schedules.
The airline is currently operating a limited service due to airspace restrictions and said it will “resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace by the relevant authorities.” According to the airline’s website it is only flying to a small number of destinations globally, with London Heathrow being the only UK airport.
Emirates and Etihad are operating flights between Manchester and Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively, although both airlines continue to offer a reduced number of services globally. Saudia continues to operate flights to and from Jeddah. Meanwhile Gulf Air has cancelled flights between Manchester and Bahrain as its airspace remains closed.

UK airlines have also adjusted their flight schedules in light of the conflict. British Airways said on March 10 that it has cancelled “all flights to and from Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai and Tel Aviv until later this month”. It has also cancelled its services “to and from Abu Dhabi until later this year.”

Virgin Atlantic has suspended its Dubai service for the remainder of the Winter season, which was due to conclude on March 28. It has also paused flights to Ryadh for two weeks from March 10.
