Much has been made about which position Noni Madueke is going to play at Arsenal.
The England international typically operates on the right of the attack, making 157 appearances in that area throughout his career, but only 12 on the left and 14 as a central striker.

However, Bukayo Saka is the undisputed starter on the right flank, leaving many to wonder where the 23-year-old will play following his expensive £52m move from Chelsea.
It does seem as if Mikel Arteta is initially viewing Noni Madueke as a backup to the Arsenal No.7 judging by footage now coming from training.
Noni Madueke spotted playing on the right flank at London Colney
The Gunners posted an Inside Training video on Tuesday which followed the new Arsenal No.20 closely.
Throughout the session, Madueke often cut inside from the right flank to take shots on his stronger left foot, suggesting that the initial plan is for the Barnet-born winger to cover for Saka.
If this is the case, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard will remain as Arteta’s two options on the left of the attack, although the situation may soon change.
Leandro Trossard could leave Arsenal
A space could open up for Arteta to use Madueke on the left at some stage throughout the 2025/26 campaign, as there are doubts over the Belgium international.
TBR Football understand Trossard has made it clear he is open to leaving Arsenal this summer, with Napoli, Atalanta and Borussia Dortmund potential destinations for the 30-year-old.
Arsenal could yet sign Eberechi Eze or Rodrygo to replace the Belgian if an exit does materialise, although both of those deals are likely to cost over £60m each.
Therefore, Madueke represents an internal option Arteta could use on the left at some points, although the initial plan appears to be for the Londoner to cover for Saka on the right – judging by the training footage.
