A squad of 13 will all play some part in two days of match practice against Sussex, led by Club Captain Daniel Bell-Drummond.

Right-hander Sam Northeast and right-arm seamer Matt Milnes are included in a Kent squad for the first time since their respective returns to the Club this Winter, whilst Matt Quinn & Jas Singh return from their injuries sustained during the 2025 season.

Ben Dawkins & Ekansh Singh will not feature due to University commitments, whilst Olly Curtiss is away in South Africa playing for Loughborough UCCE.

Joe Denly’s new one-year contract has a T20 focus so has not been selected for this warm-up, and Zak Crawley will not travel to Hove after a busy Winter schedule with England. Both have been training with the Men’s first-team at the St Lawrence Ground this past week.

Sam Billings & Fred Klaassen have white-ball focused contracts at Kent and are therefore not in-line for selection in red-ball cricket.

Early season overseas players Keith Dudgeon & Glenton Stuurman are currently involved in Boland’s CSA One-Day Cup campaign in their native South Africa, and will arrive in the UK following their involvement in the tournament. The CSA One-Day Cup Final is scheduled to take place on Sunday 29 March.

Senuran Muthusamy & Tom Rogers will arrive in Canterbury ahead of the 2026 Vitality Blast, as previously communicated.
