If only the County Council would accept that their ‘on-line only’ booking system for the recycling/disposal centres is a main cause of fly tipping !
Many more people than one might imagine are not on-line.
The almost insulting retort to those not on-line being to go to your local library, and they will help you book, overlooks the fact that getting to a library itself may be too much of a challenge for some.
Why, oh why cannot phone bookings be re-instated ?
Indeed, why are bookings needed at all ?
We used to be able to just turn up, and there never was a problem. It is hardly rocket science to see the link to increased fly tipping. I myself can book on-line, but many more than one may imagine cannot.
