Bithika Anand makes holistic healing accessible for lawyers

Bithika Anand has launched Aatman Samarpan, an initiative focused on the well-being of the global legal community, and this is her third venture following law firm management consultancy Legal League Consulting and Human Elevation, a legal talent acquisition company.

Anand said, “Aatman Samarpan is the result of a long-held aspiration to provide the legal community with the inspiration, knowledge and resources needed to pursue holistic wellness, and lead happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives. In times marked by conflict and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, it is ultimately our humanness that will sustain humanity.”

Aatman Samarpan aims to provide a platform for lawyers to improve their overall well-being and maintain balance in their professional and personal lives. It is designed as a community-led initiative, aiming to bring together legal professionals across different generations, regions and practice areas.

The platform will include activities such as mindfulness, meditation, yoga, mentoring, creative arts, sports and community service. It will also encourage knowledge-sharing, peer interaction and engagement with Indian culture.

The initiative will be launched at Vidhi Utsav 2026, organised by OakBridge Publishing. The Legal Literature Festival will be attended by members of the legal community, including senior lawyers, law firm leaders, general counsel and young professionals.

The program will be inaugurated by Dr Lalit Bhasin, managing partner of Bhasin & Co and president of the Society of Indian Law Firms; Dr Manoj Kumar, additional secretary at the Union Ministry of Law & Justice; Jyoti Sagar, founder and chairman emeritus of JSA; Atul Sharma, executive chairman of Dentons Link Legal; Dr Sanjeev Gemawat, managing director and group general counsel at Essar Group; Anand Prasad, co-founder of Trilegal and senior partner at AP & Partners; Chander Lall, designated senior advocate and founder of Lall & Sethi; and Justin Bharucha, managing partner of Bharucha & Partners.

Aatman Samarpan will operate as an open platform, focussed on building smaller interest-based groups for regular interaction and sharing knowledge. It will host an annual flagship event along with smaller engagements throughout the year.

The initiative is open to legal professionals of all age groups and aims to build a global network that supports well-being, collaboration and community engagement.
