SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – Smith County officials have confirmed to KETK News that multiple people from across the area saw a fireball falling from the sky on Saturday.

According to Smith County Emergency Services District 2, reports of the fireball came in from as far north as Red Springs and as far south as Bullard at around 5:30 p.m. but nobody has found any meteorite or meteorite fragments on the ground.
