Blake Lively slammed Perez Hilton for posting more than 500 negative videos about her — and accused him of refusing to answer to the subpoena she issued — amid her legal battle with Justin Baldoni, Us Weekly can report.
On July 29, Hilton, 47, filed court documents pleading for a protective order against Lively, 37, after he was served with a subpoena by her legal team. (Lively fired off subpoenas demanding information on several content creators she believes may have worked with Baldoni’s team to run negative stories and videos about her.) Hilton also opposed her request that he turn over private communications.
On Wednesday, August 6, Lively fired back at Hilton and demanded he produce the documents immediately.

In her new motion, Lively claimed Hilton generated social media content for Baldoni’s team about the legal battle. “Since August 2024, Mr. Hilton has created more than 500 pieces of video content about Ms. Lively, almost entirely disparaging, and about the same number of posts of sensational headlines,” Lively’s lawyer wrote.
Lively said Hilton has called her claims of retaliation “non-existent” and labeled her a “bully” who “lies” and is “trying to silence Justin Baldoni.”

Shaking it off is easier said than done. Blake Lively and Taylor Swift have not made any progress with their friendship fallout despite the actress’ recent victory in her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni. “Although it was great news for Blake, she hasn’t rekindled her friendship with Taylor yet,” a source exclusively tells Us […]
The actress’ lawyer pointed out that Hilton often calls her awful names. Lively’s motion said, “Hilton’s videos are punctuated by name-calling, Ms. Lively, coining mocking terms for her, including ”Blackface Blake,” “Lying Lively,” “Ku Klux Khaleesi,” and “Litigious Lively.”
In his filing, Hilton explained he was served with a subpoena by the actress’ legal team requesting he turn over a variety of documents and communications, “including internet records, unpublished material and personal correspondence.”

He noted, “I am a journalist, content creator, and media commentator doing my job and exercising my legally protected rights.”
Hilton demanded that the court issue the protective order prohibiting Lively from issuing any additional subpoenas without the court’s approval.

Lively scoffed at Hilton’s argument. She said Hilton has not turned over a single communication between himself and any of Baldoni’s team. Lively said his request for a protective order should be denied.
She denied he was a journalist like he claimed. “On his various Platforms, Mr. Hilton does not hold himself out as operating as an independent journalist, nor does he purport to follow any of the tenets of independent journalism.” Lively’s lawyer said. “Since August 2024, Mr. Hilton has posted more than 500 videos, 400 headlines, and hundreds of other comments about Ms. Lively on his various platforms, and his Website includes a tab on its landing page and an entire subpage dedicated to Ms. Lively.”

Her lawyer noted, “Mr. Hilton has made no secret of his lack of independence — he does not, for example, reach out to Ms. Lively or her representatives for comment prior to publishing. Mr. Hilton is in the business of shaping narratives for clicks and profit, not informing the public. That is not the kind of work that [the law] was designed to protect,” Lively’s lawyer added.
Lively demanded Hilton turn over the documents she requested via her subpoena within seven days. The court has yet to rule.

Hiton told The New York Post that he played no role in an alleged smear campaign by Baldoni’s team. He told the outlet he formed his own opinions after reading the court papers. “I was not part of any smear campaign against her,” he said. I was not working on behalf of anyone. I was not paid by anyone.”
As Us first reported, Lively dropped subpoenas for three other TikTokers who fought back against the request for their information.
Lively is suing Baldoni, her costar and the director of It Ends With Us, over alleged sexual harassment on set. She believes he hired a crisis PR team to smear her in retaliation for her complaining about his behavior. Baldoni denies her claims.
