On the show, Lomas reads “wild, juicy and downright barbaric” stories submitted by listeners and users of the social media site Reddit.
She described her audience as a “beautiful community”.
“It is an absolute honour,” she said. “We have the most open conversations and it’s very two-way.”
“It’s really nice that people trust me so much to have compassion for their story, tell it in a respectful way and give advice where necessary,” she added.
Lomas left her job to pursue content creation full-time after her videos started to gain traction online.
“My mum always says, ‘jump and the net will sometimes appear,’ and I jumped.’
Within a week, her gamble paid off and her following surged by hundreds of thousands in a matter of days.
“I was like, I’m doing something right here. This could be a winner,” she said.
