Laila Hasanovic, girlfriend of Italy’s Jannik Sinner, is not at the 2026 Miami Open.

Jannik Sinner takes on Frances Tiafoe in the quarterfinals amid his historic run at the 2026 Miami Open on March 26.

Sinner, ranked No. 2 in the world, broke Novak Djokovic’s record for most sets won (26) in a row in the history of Masters 1000 events following his victory over Bosnia’s Damir Dzumhur. Sinner extended that record to 28 after defeating American Alex Michelsen 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) to punch his ticket to the quarterfinals.

The Italian superstar is the highest-ranked male singles player in the tournament after Carlos Alcaraz’s surprise defeat to Sebastian Korda in round three.

Sinner told reporters after his win against Michelsen, “I know that if I want to go far in this tournament, I have to improve from the back of the court. Tomorrow is a day off, which helps me and I will try to find good rhythm in the practice session. Then we’ll see how things go.”

Fans have kept an eye out for Sinner’s girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic at Hard Rock Stadium; however, the model has yet to make an appearance in Miami Gardens.

The couple hard-launched their relationship after the 2025 Vienna Open in October, where she sat next to his parents.

“Thank you so much for the support,” Sinner told reporters after he won. “To understand me at times, it is not easy, but thank you for putting in the effort. Everyone here, with family, my girlfriend, friends. To my whole team and also those watching at home. Thank you so much for the support.”

While Hasanovic would likely love to be in Miami, she had her own big news to celebrate before the tournament.

Laila Hasanovic Celebrated the Launch of Her Own Line of Self-Tanning Products
Hasanovic announced she launched her own line of self-tan drops and mousse just days before the Miami Open kicked off last week. The Danish model first teased the release in a video earlier this month.

She called NRD55 “a project I’ve been quietly working on for a long time.” In the video, she says her favorite compliment is when someone says, “You’re glowing” because “it’s not how I look, but also how I feel… the way I take care of people around me, and how I choose to take care of myself.”

Hasanovic celebrated the launch with a party at Bar Moro in Copenhagen on March 15, where she was honored with a bouquet. Based on her Instagram Stories, however, the model is now enjoying time with her dog, Snoopy, and friends at Rox Resort just outside Copenhagen.

Despite confirming their relationship, neither Sinner nor Hasanovic has posted photos together on social media. He told Vanity Fair Italia in February 2024, “I like talking about tennis, and sports in general. But if you’re referring to my private life, it’s true, I want to keep it that way. I want to protect the people closest to me, keeping them out of all this.”

Jannik Sinner Initially Denied Dating Laila Hasanovic After Splitting With Anna KalinskayaJannik Sinner

GettyJannik Sinner doesn’t like to talk about his romantic relationships in public.

While fans were quick to link Sinner to Laila Hasanovic last year after she attended numerous of his matches, including at Wimbledon, the four-time Grand Slam champion shut down relationship rumors.

“There’s a lot of attention,” said Sinner during a press conference during the Italian Open in May 2025. “Also, off the court, I was surprised to see some pictures, which, nothing serious. I’m not in a relationship!”

Overall, Sinner likes to keep his private life private. During his previous relationship with tennis pro Anna Kalinskaya,  “We keep everything very confidential,” he said, per Tennis.com. “I won’t say more.”
