Keith Elliott, 64, was riding a three‑wheeled Harley‑Davidson motorbike along Odsal roundabout towards Rooley Avenue at around 2.15pm on Thursday afternoon when it was involved in a collision with an Audi A4 travelling in the opposite direction.

Mr Elliott received immediate medical attention at the scene but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later, the force has said.

Police confirmed that the driver of the Audi, a 32‑year‑old man, has been spoken to as part of the investigation.

The Major Collision Enquiry Team is now appealing for witnesses who either saw the collision itself or witnessed the events leading up to it.

What have police said

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police investigating a fatal collision in Bradford have released details of the man who sadly died in the incident.

“Keith Elliott, who was 64, was riding a three-wheeled Harley Davidson motorbike along Odsal roundabout towards Rooley Avenue at around 2.15pm yesterday (Thursday) when it was in collision with an Audi A4 car travelling in the opposite direction.

“Mr Elliott received immediate medical attention but was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.

“The Audi driver, a 32-year-old man, has been spoken to by police.

“The Major Collision Enquiry Team is continuing to investigate the collision and is appealing for anyone who witnessed it, or the events leading up to it to contact them on 101, or by using the livechat facility on our website, quoting reference 13260173619.

The team are also keen to hear from anyone who has footage that may assist their investigation.”
