Cruz Beckham had the support of his family and two members of the biggest girl band in history as he embarked on the last of his London gigs with his band The Breakers on Friday night (March 27). The musician’s band belted out their new tracks to a packed out Courtyard Theatre in Shoreditch, with his mum Victoria Beckham bringing along her old bandmate Geri Halliwell to cheer him on.

Pop star turned fashion designer Victoria, 51, was joined by Ginger Spice and her 19-year-old daughter Bluebell, as well as the rest of the Beckham clan – of course, minus Brooklyn. Geri got there early, wearing a white tailored co-ord, with a graphic tee underneath, while her hair was styled into a sleek bob.

Frontman Cruz, who has today announced a North American tour, dedicated one of his songs to his “special lady” Harper, his 14-year-old sister, who was enjoying the gig with some friends and her brother Romeo, 23. He also launched into a well-received rendition of The Beatles’ All You Need Is Love, to raucous applause from the crowd, and approval from his mum and Geri, who sang along to the beloved track.

According to Hello!, Romeo and his little sister Harper left holding hands, while proud dad David beamed as he watched his son on stage, recording various tracks on his phone. A source told the publication: “It was heartwarming to see the old friends support one another. Victoria appeared as though she really needed the fun moment with her pal and looked genuinely happy as she bopped to the music.”

They added: “Once the song had finished, Geri and Victoria embraced for a long time and the mum-of-four squeezed her friend’s shoulders as she pulled away, leaning her head into her in a gesture of real closeness.”

As well as the tight-knit family and friends, Cruz, 21, was supported by his cousins, aunts and uncles, as well as his girlfriend, singer-songwriter Jackie Apostel, 31. But one family member who wasn’t present was the clan’s estranged son and brother, Brooklyn, 27, and his wife Nicola Peltz.

The long-running – and at this point, seemingly irreparable – family feud has seen Brooklyn turn his back on his family, missing major milestones with his brood, including Cruz’s success as a budding rockstar. It’s said that one of his new tracks is about the fall-out with his family, and the brother he was previously so close to.

Earlier this week, at another London date, Cruz was seen becoming emotional as he sang Loneliest Boy, a song which fans are convinced is about Brooklyn. As Cruz was seen wiping his face with his sleeve, bandmate puts his arm around his shoulder, ruffling his hair.

Both David and Victoria reportedly appeared emotional, with David wiping his eyes, and Victoria tenderly putting her arm around his waist. The lyrics seemed to provoke strong emotions in the couple, who heard their third son sing: “Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much…it’s breaking hеr heart.”

Another lyric goes: “It shows in the small things that you don’t do,” while another verse urges the “loneliest boy” not to “push all your friends away, when we’re trying to show you love.”
