British Minigolf Championships at Strokes

Some 55 players took part in the 2026 British Minigolf Championships at Strokes in Margate,  playing over 7 rounds across last weekend. It was a record turnout.

The Overall and Men’s Champion was Adam Kelly. He made history by winning without dropping a single shot (not scoring any worse than a 2 on any hole). His final winning margin was a huge 16 shots! Across the entire tournament, Adam recorded 37 hole-in-ones.

Marc Chapman was 2nd in the Men’s category, with last year’s Champion, Seve Kukielka, in 3rd

The Women’s Champion was Ruth Sturdy, winning it for the 14th time. She finished ahead of Rachel King (2nd), and Shelley Cooper (3rd)

The Senior’s Title was retained by Jon Angel, with Martin Greenhead 2nd, and Brad Ames 3rd

In the Super Senior Category Richard Jones was victorious, with James Teubler 2nd and Mark Wood 3rd

A total of £700 was awarded in prize money, along with 3 trophies, one silver salver, and 12 medals
