It was a delight to have Steve Hallam LRPS return to North Nibley Village Hall to judge the monthly competition for Tyndale Photography Club.
We were particularly thankful to Steve, a member of the Hanham and Kingswood Photo Club, as he made the journey from Bristol through dreadful weather conditions.
This month both the projected image and the print competitions were open subject and included a wide variety of images.
Steve spent a considerable amount of time on each entry, sharing his personal thoughts and preferences.
In some instances he also offered suggestions for what he thought might improve the image, such as cropping to create a more dramatic effect or softening the colours for a subtler appearance.
