Millwall are the side most likely to end up in the play-offs with an 83.86% chance they will land somewhere between third and sixth.

Fellow automatic promotion chasers Middlesbrough and Ipswich Town are embroiled in a closer contest for second, with the two sides harbouring a 56.18% and 58.42% probability of ending up in the play-offs respectively.

But league leaders Coventry City have just a 0.14% chance of falling out of the top two, with a humungous 99.86% likelihood they will be throwing a return to the Premier League celebration party before the end of the season.

Hull City, currently fifth, have a 74.7% chance of making the play-offs, while sixth-placed Southampton sit at 69.84%.

But Wrexham, in seventh, are hot on their tails with a 42.46% chance and eighth-placed Derby County can’t be discounted at 12.16%.

For the rest of the sides in the Championship still theoretically in with a chance, things do not look so hopeful though.

Ninth-placed Watford have just a measly 0.96% probability and it is all downhill from there until you reach Bristol City in 16th. With just a 0.02% chance, it would take a miracle from new boss Roy Hodgson to earn them a promotion shot.
