CityFibre to launch 8.5 Gbps wholesale service on 21 April
UK wholesale operator CityFibre has launched a new 8.5 Gbps product across its network, raising its top speed from a previous maximum of 5.5 Gbps. The new speed is the result of the rollout of XGS-PON technology across CityFibre’s footprint, which currently reaches over 4.7 million premises. Partner ISPs can access the 8.5 Gbps wholesale service from 21 April.
