It appears things are destined to be challenging for the 12 familiar faces returning to I’m A Celebrity South Africa, as a preview reveals tears, friction and queasy stomachs.
In an initial glimpse of the forthcoming ITV series, scheduled to broadcast on April 6, one scene shows reality personality Gemma Collins becoming tearful while speaking to the Bush Telegraph.
She can be observed getting highly emotional, declaring: “I feel like you’re trying to kill me, it’s like, not even funny.”
This represents Gemma’s second stint on the show, having notably departed after merely three days during her initial appearance back in 2014.
Meanwhile in the trailer, it depicts the celebrities exposing themselves in the jungle shower, alongside some revolting trials, as one star vomits while participating in a challenge, reports the Express.

Another snippet reveals some squabbling among the campmates as boxer David Haye declares: “It makes it easier for me to do the scumbag move.”
One segment also shows Sinitta admitting: “I thought it was a joke.” As Gemma responds: “I’m not a joke, darling.”
Meanwhile, former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas informs one of his campmates: “You’re my issue right now.”

Hosts Ant and Dec will return to greet the recognisable faces as the likes of Gemma, Adam, David and Sinitta participate in the forthcoming series.
Also vying for the crown of I’m A Celeb Legend is Seann Walsh, Sir Mo Farah, Craig Charles, Jimmy Bullard, Scarlett Moffatt, Beverley Callard, Ashley Roberts and Harry Redknapp. With the promise of the ‘most epic and extreme trials in I’m A Celebrity history’ this year, fans are set for a thrill.

A synopsis states: “Campmates have already proved that they can survive the Australian jungle, but this is I’m A Celebrity… on a whole new level, it’s where legends are made.
“The trials are tougher than ever and with that, so are the stakes. With relentless twists and turns, the campmates will never know what’s coming next.
“They will be faced with challenges at every turn, quickly learning that with big decisions come even bigger consequences.”
I’m A Celebrity . . . South Africa broadcasts on ITV from 6 April at 9pm.
