Gas has stayed relatively consistent throughout Trump’s second term. The price per gallon has bounced between a low of $2.936 and a high of $3.299 on average in the US. This month, it’s sitting at $3.039 according to the US Energy Information Administration…

…but I can’t help feeling like I’m stepping onto a platform and waiting for the floor to drop under me. 

It is simply a fact that the war in Iran is affecting gas prices, and though those figures won’t come in until March is over, I know from my own rubbernecking past gas stations that the numbers aren’t pretty.Â
