Viewers of MAFS Australia were left gobsmacked when a new groom announced he was expecting two children, just before his wedding ceremony.
The latest couple to say their vows on Wednesday (April 1) were Chris Robinson and Sam Stanton, matched by experts Alessandra Rampolla, John Aiken and the late MAFS icon Mel Schilling.
The pair hit it off immediately during their nuptials, reciting almost identical vows. They found common ground in their shared love for farming and fitness, as well as similar romantic aspirations.
However, Chris, 38, dropped a double baby bombshell that could potentially cause turmoil in their budding relationship.

Before meeting his new spouse, Chris confided in the producers: “It’s really important to me that my match wants kids or is open to the idea of children,” reports OK!.
“I’ve wanted to be a father for so long and as I’ve gotten older I feel like I can’t wait to bring a little human into this world. So it’s wild, absolutely wild, but I’m pregnant.”
He elaborated: “Not me, obviously. There’s two children coming, I have one coming very soon and then I have another one coming next year. I’m a donor daddy for a friend of mine, who’s a lesbian. Then I’m having my own child through surrogacy.”
Chris revealed to the experts that he usually discloses his impending fatherhood “as soon as possible” when dating someone new. However, he will need to break the news to Sam after they are already wed.
