Paul Cooke has listed his combined Hull FC-Hull KR team.
Former Hull FC and Hull KR half-back Paul Cooke has listed his combined Hull Derby XIII ahead of the 250th meeting of the two sides at Craven Park this Good Friday – and it features no Mikey Lewis.
Listing his picks on Hull Live sister site All Out Rugby League, Cooke has opted for Hull’s Zak Hardaker over Lewis, stating: “Zak Hardaker at the minute, I think.”
Hardaker starred in the halves for Hull against Catalans Dragons last week. He has also played full-back and centre so far this year and recently agreed to a new one-year deal for the 2027 season. Meanwhile, Lewis scored a hat-trick in a 52-10 victory over St Helens and has been ever present for the Robins this year.
Elsewhere, Cooke’s derby thirteen features seven Rovers players and six from Hull, with selections based on the sides who played in Super League last week.
Cooke’s Rovers seven are Jack Broadbent, Oliver Gildart, Joe Burgess, Tyrone May, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, and James Batchelor. For Hull, Hardaker is joined by Tom Briscoe, Arthur Romano, Harvie Hill, James Bell, and John Asiata.
