Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street will reveal Jodie Ramsey‘s secret role in Mal Roper’s exit twist in new scenes next week. Viewers will know that Bernie Winter-Alahan has been through the ordeal with villain Mal in recent times.
After stalking her in the last few weeks, Mal tried to blackmail Bernie into sex after being roughed up by her son Kit Green. He falsely blamed Dev and agreed to withdraw the claims against Bernie’s husband on the condition that she sleep with him.

However, Bernie didn’t go through with it in his hotel room, dragging things out amid Mal’s increasing anger, before Ryan Connor burst into the room and held Mal back. Bernie then demanded Mal go to the police and retract his charges, later learning that he had done so.
In upcoming scenes, Jodie tells Gemma that she has left a number of poor reviews on Mal’s website to sabotage his business and get revenge for Bernie.
Roy reveals later in the week that Mal has told him he plans to move back to Inverness, as Gemma confesses to Bernie about Jodie’s bad reviews on Mal’s site, and that is why he is upping sticks.
However, is this the last they’ll see of Mal?

“Jodie seems to have changed her tune – she previously encouraged Mal’s unwanted interest in Bernie,” our Corrie source said. “She also terrified Bernie by breaking into her home and sabotaging her wedding photo, which Bernie blamed Mal for.
“Could Jodie have realised that she went too far amid her petty grudge with Bernie? Or is she still manipulating everyone around her by hiding her true agenda?”
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
