Britain’s Got Talent star Amanda Holden has told of her joy after fellow judge KSI said she was “hot”, confessing: “He made an old woman very happy.”

During a Heart Breakfast interview, KSI was asked about his thoughts on Amanda Holden, to which he replied: “Hot and she’s still hot by the way”.

The 55-year-old said his comments left her over the moon. She told the Mirror: “I was very taken aback…when he said hot and he still thinks I am, I was like, what? But I loved it, obviously, I loved it. He made an old woman very happy.”

Amanda also opened up about her relationship with KSI generally, saying his presence on the panel for the first time has galvanised the show. She says: “Aside from his no-nonsense approach he’s bringing a new approach to the show. He looks at everything through a social media lens and what will work and won’t work on TikTok.

“That is what we pride ourselves on at Britain’s Got Talent, always moving with the times and reinventing the show or bits of the show over the last 19 years, which is why I think it’s succeeded and worked for so long. Having KSI on the end is a stroke of genius. I just love him. He’s got great energy. He’s up for stuff.”

They are such good mates they even hang out together. She added: “KSI and I socialise together….it’s just heaven on a stick behind the scenes.”

Amanda also described how she is sexing up her wardrobe this series. She admits: “A lot of leather and a lot of cool, longer hair…..I love fashion so we wait for the last minute, so we get the most unique dresses.”

She also opened up about her first golden buzzer act, The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir. Made up of farmers from across the UK, they were initially founded by Jeremy Clarkson as part of an advertising campaign for his beer. Judge Amanda pressed her buzzer to give them a free pass to the semis of the ITV talent show.

And she told us: “It was the singing first and foremost. It’s a very isolating job driving a tractor at four o’clock in the morning so I didn’t think it was going to be as good as it was. They broke my heart with their harmonising, whoever put it together smashed it because it was beautifully done.

“We speak to a lot of farmers and dairy farmers on Heart Breakfast every morning, I feel like our show is a friend to all those people that are up early like postmen and window cleaners, it’s the people that are working on their own and we already feel like we’re their friends. I felt quite drawn to them and a sense of responsibility towards them because they have it so tough and this was so beautiful. I just really felt it emotionally.”
