A man is in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of rape as part of an investigation into a serious sexual assault.
Avon and Somerset Police are investigating the rape of a woman in Assembly Rooms Lane area of Bristol at approximately 03:05 BST on 29 March.
Two other men have been released under investigation, and police said they are continuing high-visibility patrols this weekend, with people able to approach officers with concerns.
Det Insp Christian Vogler said: “The victim remains our main priority and we are working hard to try and provide her with answers about what happened and hold those responsible to account.”
