The Football Factory star Danny Dyer will seemingly do anything in honour of West Ham – even if it involves shouting about his daughter’s sex life.

The actor, 48, was filmed joining in with the X-rated chant forged by footie fans which celebrates the fact his firstborn is ‘sh***ing’ right winger Jarrod Bowen.

Footage of the father-of-three getting into the swing of things while watching West Ham take on Leeds during the FA Cup semi-final has been doing the rounds on social media.

Fans of the Hammers were on the edge of their seats on Sunday (5 April) after Leeds stars Ao Tanaka and Dominic Calvert-Lewin put their rivals 2-0 up as the clock neared 90 minutes.

A few supporters were seen trickling out of the London Stadium before West Ham made an epic comeback as Mateus Fernandes and Axel Disasi hit the back of the net twice.

The game ended up going into extra time and culminated in a 2-2 draw.

Danny’s son-in-law, Jarrod Bowen, also missed a crucial penalty during the match – but prior to this, he was seen cheering the West Ham captain, 29, on from the stands.

In a video shared to social media, the former Eastenders star can be seen joining in with the chant which goes: “Bowen’s on fire, and he’s sh***ing Dani Dyer.”

Danny was seen belting out the chant – which is sung to the tune of Gala’s 1997 hit ‘Freed from Desire’ – while swinging his grandson, Santiago, around in the stands.

People seemed to think it was hilarious that Dani’s own dad was taking part in the chant – although they don’t think it did Bowen any good on the pitch.

One person commented on the footage: “To then go and lose after singing about your daughter getting piped, wild.”

Another joked: “Next time he’s round for Sunday dinner, Danny will be putting him on the fire.”

And a third chimed in saying: “Absolutely love this.”

Danny’s daughter Dani got hitched to West Ham ace Bowen in May last year and shares two daughters, twin girls Summer and Star, with him. She is also mum to Santiago, from a previous relationship.

The actor was over the moon when the pair got together, given that he is a diehard West Ham fan.

Speaking about Bowen on The Jonathan Ross Show back in 2023, Danny said: “West Ham until I die. You can’t tell them who to fall in love with… all of a sudden she’s brought home a West Ham player.

“I couldn’t have hand picked a better human being, he’s beautiful.”

He also shared his thoughts on the hilarious chant about his daughter Dani, saying: “There is a chant, which I think is quite sweet. When he scores – and he does score a lot – [they chant] ‘Bowen’s on fire and he’s sh**ging Dani Dyer!’ I’ve been over there when they’re singing it, jumping around. Is that wrong?”

Elsewhere in the game, Danny’s beloved team pulled one back in stoppage time when Mateus Fernandes converted the rebound after Bowen’s shot came back off the far post.

Then Disasi prodded in Traore’s cross to drag the Hammers level, despite Leeds’ protests that his high boot caught Pascal Struijk.

The thousands of West Ham fans who had left early were trying, and failing, to get back in when Valentín Castellanos thought he had put them ahead in the opening seconds of extra time after a bad error from goalkeeper Lucas Perri – only for VAR to rule him offside.

Then Bowen crashed a shot against the crossbar, with Pablo offside when he rolled in the rebound.

Alphonse Areola went down injured with five minutes of extra time remaining, leaving Finlay Herrick to take centre stage – but it was Perri who proved to be the hero as Leeds landed their date with Chelsea at Wembley.
