The Neighbourhood, the new “high-stakes” ITV gameshow hosted by Graham Norton, has confirmed its UK release date. The highly anticipated reality series is set to premiere on ITV1 and ITVX on Friday 24 April.
Hosted by Norton, the 11-part programme kicks off its launch weekend with three consecutive nights of episodes, with episodes 2 and 3 dropping on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April, respectively.
Per an official description, the show sees contestants compete within individual households on a street, marrying “high-stakes competition” with “epic challenges and relatable domestic drama” as they battle it out to take home a cash prize.

The synopsis reads: “The Neighbourhood will see real-life households from all walks of life move in side by side, finding themselves not only neighbours but also fierce competitors in the ultimate reality showdown.
“This is a game the households will live as well as play. They’ll be with each other 24/7, sleeping and eating in their houses, socialising between them – and then voting each other out.
“The challenges they face in public will change the dynamics behind closed doors. And to win, they’ll need to defeat their neighbours, while still staying popular on the street.”
Speaking about the unique new format, Norton opened up about his hosting role, saying: “Like everyone, I’m always intrigued by what goes on behind closed doors. Add to that some dastardly challenges and a life-changing prize, and I’m hooked.

“Both Lifted [Entertainment, production company] and The Garden are masters at what they do, so I feel confident The Neighbourhood will be the nation’s favourite destination.”
Following the release of a teaser trailer last month, fans took to social media to share their thoughts, with one lucky viewer taking to Facebook to say they had seen the first episode.
“I’ve seen this,” they wrote. “I was chosen to watch the pilot episode and give my opinion and this is a great game show reality tv all mixed together. In my opinion people will be talking about it for days, probably stream it all.”
Norton is currently on hiatus from his hit BBC One chat show, The Graham Norton Show, having wrapped up the latest season earlier this year. He also presents ITV’s reboot of Wheel of Fortune.
The Neighbourhood is set to air on ITV1 and ITVX on Friday 24 April.
