Speaking to comedian and presenter Tom Allen on Capital Breakfast, presenter Jordan said a joke nearly cost the pair their spot in the crowd the tennis championship.
Tom said: “I think you’re actually quite fancy though, aren’t you, Jordan?
“You’re a bit fancy. He likes nice things really.
“I think you like food more than you let on, probably. You go to some nice restaurants. You’ve lived. We first met at Wimbledon, actually.”
Jordan said Tom’s joke, after the umpire called a ball ‘out’, almost got them kicked out.
Jordan said: “We nearly got thrown out, because we were on the Pimm’s, and the umpire shouted ‘out,’ and Tom went, ‘That’s more out than me!’ and I burst out laughing.”
Tom said: “That’s a terrible impression of me! Yeah, they’re very strict at Wimbledon.”
The chaos didn’t end there on the episode as Jordan, who is currently competing on the show Cooking With The Stars, challenged Tom, who hosts the ITV cooking show, to a doughnut glazing challenge.
Jordan spilt cream all over Tom’s trousers during the game, with the comedian due to go on ITV’s This Morning straight after the show.
On the show, Jordan went head-to-head with other celebrities in the kitchen. The celebs attempt to go from passionate amateur cooks to restaurant-level chefs, with the help of an accomplished chef mentor.
Under the guidance of Rosemary Shrager, Jordan made his own spicy chicken goujons with crispy polenta chips, white cabbage salad, pear chilli jam and lemon mayonnaise.
The pressure got to Jordan, who ended up in the ‘cook off’, risking being eliminated from the competition – but his own doughnut creations secured him a place in the next stage of the competition.
