He asked if they wanted more and heard a loud ‘no’ in response

A bullwhip performer had a short-lived moment of fame when he had a crack at ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
Loughborough’s Simon Ratzker strutted onto the stage in his cowboy hat and immediately frustrated judge Simon Cowell by trying to pronounce “Leicestershire” in a comical American accent.
Judge Simon asked him a second time where he was from, failed to understand what he was saying and then just gave up.
Holding a whip in either hand, the performer cracked them one after another to the sound of the Indiana Jones theme. Off stage, hosts Ant and Dec put their fingers in their ears and commented on how loud the noise was.
For the second part of his act, Simon persuaded judge Amanda Holden to put on a pair of safety glasses and stand on the stage while he cracked his whips some more, causing her to flinch.

After a while, he turned to the audience and said: “Would you like to hear more?” but was greeted with jeers of “no”.
Judge Simon told his namesake: “I think the answer was no.”
That left the whipcracker to leave the stage, with the firm “no” signalling the end of his dream to get into the next round and be in with a chance of winning £250,000 and a bagging spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.
Britain’s Got Talent, which has been running since 2007, is on Saturday evenings at 6.45pm on ITV1. Stream the current series on ITVX.
