Thousands of people across the country reported issues logging into the CIBC mobile banking app on Monday.

The online, real-time platform Downdetector, which allows users to log issues with apps and websites, reported more than 2,000 complaints for the Canadian bank around 3 p.m. ET.

Several users on a Reddit thread also shared they were having issues logging into the app, and in some cases, using ATMs.

In an email to CTVNews.ca on Monday afternoon, a CIBC spokesperson said that the issue had been resolved.

As of 7:30 p.m., Downdetector reported the number of complains at less than 100.
