There is plenty of talent still available on the market for 2026, as a raft of players from Super League clubs remain without a contract for next season. Here is a list of every player that could leave their current club in November.
Castleford Tigers:
As well as a decision of who to appoint as the next head coach, director of rugby Chris Chester has eight players off contract at the end of the season.
George Griffin and Joe Westerman are arguably the two biggest players yet to see new deals announced. Rowan Milnes looks to be on his way out, alongside Jeremiah Simbiken Josh Hodson, Luke Hooley, Josh Simm and Will Tate.
Catalans Dragons:
The Dragons have 10 players still off contract at the end of 2025, not including Tevita Pangai Jr and Sam Tomkins, who are set to join Warrington Wolves and retire respectively.
Quota players Reimis Smith, Tariq Sims and Bayley Sironen all remain without a contract, as do the experienced Elliott Whitehead and Fouad Yaha.
Alrix Da Costa, Theo Fages, Arthur Romano, Paul Seguier and Tanguy Zenon are the remaining players out of contract in Perpignan.
Huddersfield Giants:
Club captain and stalwart Leroy Cudjoe is in the final year of his contract. Niall Evalds is set to sign a contract extension at the club for once his loan has ended, but that is not yet confirmed.
Young prospects Jack Bibby and Connor Carr remain without deals, as do Jake Bibby and Aidan McGowan.
Hull FC:
Though not confirmed, Jack Ashworth and Jordan Lane are set to depart the Black and Whites at the end of the season to join Castleford Tigers. That leaves Richie Myler and John Cartwright with five players to decide whether their deals need renewing beyond 2025.
Ligi Sao is the only quota player off contract. He has missed the entire 2025 season with injury and has not been registered.
Liam Watts and Tom Briscoe add experience to the side, but whether they remain at the club next year remains to be seen.
Young duo Zach Jebson and Will Gardiner are also out of contract.
Hull KR:
The Robins only have three actual contract negotiations to sort out, given that Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will retire at the end of the season.
One of the remaining three is Michael McIlorum. The 37-year-old hooker is thought to be retiring at the end of the year as he moves back to Catalans Dragons to join Joel Tomkins’ coaching staff. However, no announcement has been made yet.
24-year-old AJ Wallace signed from Bradford Bulls in 2022, but failed to make his first team debut. He is on loan at Toulouse Olympique for the remainder of the year, as his time at the Rovers looks to be over.
Connor Barley is the final player without a contract. Making his debut as a 17-year-old in 2022, he has spent time at Featherstone Rovers and London Broncos in 2025 in a bid to impress any potential suitors.
Leeds Rhinos:
Sam Lisone and Morgan Gannon are both confirmed to be leaving the club to join Hull FC and NZ Warriors respectively.
That leaves Matt Frawley, who looks to have played his final game in a Leeds Rhinos shirt, as his loan spell at Huddersfield was extended.
Ethan Clark-Wood, an overseas player who has featured just once in Super League and is currently out with injury, and Chris Hankinson, who signed for the club this week from Salford Red Devils’ contracts are up at the end of the year.
Leigh Leopards:
Adrian Lam has nine players off-contract in 2025, with son Lachlan the standout. The star playmaker is expected to sign a new deal, but no announcement has been made on his future.
Fellow halves Gareth O’Brien and Ben McNamara look set to stay on but again, nothing has been officially confirmed. Back rower Jack Hughes and Brad Dwyer may be sweating on their futures though.
Josh Charnley has been vocal on his future, admitting it would be a dream to return to Wigan Warriors. He has been out of favour in 2025 and a move away from the club is a possibility.
Nathan Wilde, Kavan Rothwell, Jack Darbyshire and Will Brough are also all out of contract.
Salford Red Devils:
Eight Salford players could be set to leave the club at the end of this season, should they remain without a new deal for 2026.
Loghan Lewis and Jayden Nikorima are the two overseas players in the list, with Ben Hellewell, Matty Foster and Kai Morgan also set to exit.
Joe Mellor, Jamie Pye and Nathan Connell are the final three to remain without a deal.
St Helens:
Joe Batchelor, James Bell (both Hull FC), Morgan Knowles (Dolphins), Jonny Vaughan and Dayon Sambou (both Wigan) have all signed elsewhere for 2026, but there are still 10 players the Saints are yet to decide the futures of.
Overseas quartet Curtis Sironen, Konrad Hurrell, Moses Mbye and Agnatius Paasi are all off contract, leaving huge room in both the salary cap and the quota places should they all depart.
Matt Whitley and Jake Wingfield are two more forwards yet to sign on the dotted line, whilst Jon Bennison, Jake Burns, Tee Ritson and Will Roberts have yet to decide their future for 2026.
Wakefield Trinity:
Renouf Atoni is the only overseas player set for an exit from Trinity, with Daryl Powell already filling nine of his ten allowed quota spots for next season.
Josh Griffin has reportedly signed for York Knights next year, whilst Liam Hood could also leave given the signings of Jazz Tevaga and Tyson Smoothy.
Matthieu Cozza, Matty Russell and Jack Croft are the final three players without a contract for 2026.
Warrington Wolves:
Paul Vaughan‘s move to York still leaves Sam Burgess with eight contract decisions still to make. Toby King and Sam Powell have reportedly signed new deals but the club is yet to confirm them.
Stefan Ratchford recently turned 37, and whilst it is a possibility he continues his career, it might not be with Warrington.
Roderick Tai, Connor Wrench, Jordy Crowther and Jake Thewlis also remain without new deals for next season.
Ryan Matterson joined the club on-loan from Parramatta Eels, but has admitted he would be open to staying with the Wolves for longer than this season.
Wigan Warriors:
Wigan have four players set to leave the Brick Community Stadium at the season’s end, with three widely reported to have already signed elsewhere.
Liam Byrne is reportedly going to Warrington Wolves, Jacob Douglas is make the switch to St Helens and Harvie Hill will join Hull FC.
That leaves rugby union convert Christian Wade as the final player without a deal, and given his performances since his move to the thirteen-man code, it is likely he will not be offered a new deal.
