After quite a few delays and setbacks over the years, the team behind stylish platformer Replaced — Sad Cat Studios — has today revealed how the the game will look and play on Xbox in terms of resolutions and frame rates.
Over on Xbox Series X, Replaced will run at a full 4K / 60FPS. Xbox Series S owners, meanwhile, are treated to 1440p / 60FPS playback. These will seemingly be the only graphics modes available in Replaced at launch.
REPLACED Graphics modes on console:
Quality mode:
Xbox Series X 4K 60 FPS
Xbox Series S 2K 60 FPS
That’s it. No DLSS5 then we guess 🤷🏻♂️

As you can see by the team’s cheeky jab at DLSS5 there, Replaced doesn’t appear to contain any sort of AI upscaling – although we’ll leave the techy folks such as Digital Foundry to let us know that for sure. It’d make sense though, given that Replaced should be a fairly easy game to run on modern Xbox hardware.
Before we head out here, it’s worth remembering that Replaced launches day one on Xbox Game Pass – and it’s arriving on April 14th to boot. For the full April Game Pass lineup, check out our guide on this month’s additions down below.
