New details about Amazfit’s next smartwatch have emerged online. Posted on Bluesky by Roland Quandt, the new leak follows the same smartwatch being spotted earlier this month in an official Amazfit video. Prior to that, the company teased the Cheetah 2 Pro in an Instagram post.

Initially, we were unsure whether the smartwatch shown earlier this month was the Cheetah 2 or the Cheetah 2 Pro. Based on Quandt’s recent post, it was more likely the latter rather than the former. From the images shared, the Cheetah 2 Pro contains a more complex sensor arrangement than its predecessor, as well as the same two-pin charging solution found on the Active 3 Premium (curr. $169 on Amazon).

The Cheetah 2 Pro swaps a digital crown for a second physical button too, which appears to sit above an expanded microphone or speaker array. According to the leaker, Amazfit intends to release the Cheetah 2 Pro for around €459 compared to €299 for the original Cheetah Pro. If that price increase tracks to other markets, then the Cheetah 2 Pro may reach the UK and the US for £459 and $459, respectively. Exact release details remain unknown at this stage.
