Entrants, ranging from beginners to experienced snappers, submitted images in categories including landscape, nature, people and general.

Submissions came in both print and digital format and ranged from hawthorn berries in the Borders to hyenas in Africa.

Award-winning photographic duo John and Sandra Parris judged the images, with the club thanking the pair for their time and expertise.

Across the season, Galashiels Camera Club has competed against Hawick, Kelso, Selkirk, Peebles and Midlothian in inter-club competitions.

As the season drew to a close, the club paid thanks to the other organisations for participating.

Weekly meetings have now paused and will resume in September, but members will continue to meet monthly throughout summer.

More information on the club, including an example of the syllabus and how to join, can be found at galacameraclub.co.uk
