Ok, so we’ve only just recovered from this week’s couples retreat on Married at First Sight Australia, but it appears the drama was showing no sign of slowing down in tonight’s episode, after Gia claimed she had seen a number of text messages, allegedly sent by Bec, in which Bec bad mouthed her fellow MAFSAU cast members. Er, so what exactly is going on?
During tonight’s episode (16 April) the next dinner party was in session and while Bec and Danny were in good spirits with the rest of the group, and Bec was acting friendly with the majority of the women, fellow bride Gia wasn’t impressed.
Towards the end of the episode she spoke to camera and said the rest of the group shouldn’t believe Bec’s actions and she claimed Bec had spoken badly about the other women. Speaking to camera she said: “All those girls you’re sitting with, you talk s*** about. I’ve got it in text messages.”

She went onto claim Bec had spoken negatively about Rachel, Alissa and Stella, who Bec was appearing friendly with at the dinner party.
Gia then grabbed fellow cast members Chris and Juliette and pulled them aside, telling the pair: “I’m sitting on some s*** right now.”
She then claimed: “I’ve got texts of her talking s*** about everyone in this experiment…she should be very worried. I’ve got all this in screenshots. The things she said about them is so f****d.”
The episode ended before we got a chance to see the texts and what was allegedly in them. However, as the show has already finished airing in Australia, we do now know exactly what was said. Here’s what you need to know.

What are the texts Gia claimed Bec sent?
Following Gia’s revelation, in the next episode of MAFS Australia (which will air in the UK on Monday 20 April, but has already aired in Australia) Juliette brings up the alleged messages to the group during the next commitment ceremony but the pair didn’t reveal the contents, leaving the group on tenterhooks.
However, a few episodes later the extent of the messages were revealed after Juilette sent the screenshots to Alissa, who read them out to David in bed.
One text message reads as per Women’s Weekly: “Alissa is going f*****g down.” Another says: “Rat b***h with her rat husband, I’m gonna go so f*n hard on Alissa and [her] fake relationship.”
And: “[You] know what Alissa probably isn’t a bad girl but her head [is] so far up her f*****g a*****e she doesn’t even realise what a c*** [she] actually [is].”
What has Bec said about the text messages?
Since the show has aired in Australia, Bec has owned up to sending the messages, which are believed to have been part of a group chat.
During an Instagram Live, with last year’s bride Awhina Rutene, Bec apologised for the messages saying: “I’ll tell you that what I wrote was deplorable without a doubt. I was reactionary. It came from a place of hurt and they were unacceptable.”
She went onto apologise specifically to Alissa saying: “Alissa doesn’t deserve what I said about her, she’s a beautiful person.
“I have to sit here and say it was a huge regret of mine. They’re there and they’re out.”
