Southampton’s storming run at the top six is hitting the buffers as it stands as they trail 1-0 at Swansea.
Sixth-placed Hull City lead Birmingham 1-0, which is just as well as seventh-placed Wrexham are 2-0 up and in total control at home to injury-hit Stoke.
Roy Hodgson’s excellent spell as Bristol City boss is continuing as his Robins lead the Canaries of Norwich 1-0.
At the bottom, West Brom, who could yet have a points deduction, are on course to move five points clear of the relegation zone as they lead Preston 1-0.
