Hello, good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage from the Racecourse Ground of Stoke City’s Championship game against Wrexham.
Stoke are in North Wales tasked with ending a five-game losing run on the road that stretches back to mid-February and coincides with an unbeaten run at the bet365 Stadium. Mark Robins wants to put that right and end a season which started so encouraging with a flourish, even if that’s only in mid-table.
The Potters aren’t helped this afternoon by an availability crisis at centre-back. Ashley Phillips is suspended at the same time as Ben Wilmot (calf), Maksym Talovierov (ankle) and Ben Gibson (groin) are injured but striker Robert Bozenik is fit again while goalkeeper Viktor Johansson is stepping up his training.
Wrexham come into this weekend having lost four of their last seven to slip four points behind the play-off pack as they chase an unprecedented fourth promotion in a row.
