Chelsea are now considering an approach to sign Iliman Ndiaye from Everton this summer, and could use one of their underperforming summer signings in an effort to get the deal done.
Despite the Blues spending big money over the summer on new wingers, they have not yet had the impact many would desire when taking into account their price tags.
Alejandro Garnacho has been linked with a move away, and Jamie Gittens looks like his first season at the club is going to end without a Premier League goal.

Chelsea considering Liam Delap swap deal for Iliman Ndiaye
A number of widemen have shown in games against the Blues that they could have spent that money better elsewhere, and Iliman Ndiaye produced a starring performance in Everton’s 3-0 win against the Blues.
We have already made the case for Chelsea having to go all out to sign Ndiaye, and now it looks like the club are weighing up a move for the impressive winger.

Simon Phillips has claimed that Everton are big fans of current Chelsea star Liam Delap, and he could be used if the club make an approach to sign him.
He said: “SPTC Sources have heard that the club are now seriously tracking Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye ahead of a possible approach this summer.
“At this point in time, it’s unclear how attainable he will be this summer. But Chelsea are now weighing up testing the waters for the 26-year-old, and they know that Chelsea have some players that Everton like – one being Liam Delap. Players could be used as a bargaining tool if The Blues decide to push for him.
“At this moment, it’s just Chelsea tracking and pondering a move. But he is a player that the club would really like to try and bring in.”

Iliman Ndiaye ‘one of the best’ in the Premier League
After scoring nine goals last season, Ndiaye has nine goal contributions already this season as part of a very impressive Everton side.
Earlier this season, Jamie O’Hara labelled the Senegal international as ‘one of the best’ players in the Premier League, and this is the exact calibre of player the club should be targeting.
Supporters have grown tired of the club continuing to prioritise signing young talents rather than those who have already proven they can deliver at the top level.
Behdad Eghbali has promised a tweak to the transfer strategy this summer, however fans are starting to turn on those in charge. There were wide protests before the game at Stamford Bridge against Manchester United on Saturday.
