Hull FC are pleased to announce that Jeremiah Mata’utia has joined the club on loan.
The prop has joined the club from Leeds Rhinos on a one-week loan.
Newman will be available for selection in Friday’s Betfred Super League Round 9 fixture against Castleford Tigers at The OneBore Stadium.
The 21-year old joined the Rhinos ahead of the 2026 Betfred Super League season from NRL outfit North Queensland Cowboys, and arrives in West Hull to add depth to the Black & Whites’ pack as the first-team continues to navigate an extensive injury list.
The club also confirms that Harry Newman’s loan spell has been extended by a further week.
Newman, who joined the club on loan from the Rhinos last week, featured in Thursday’s fixture against St Helens, and will also be available for this Friday’s trip to West Yorkshire alongside teammate Mata’utia.
