If you head off out of the Crucible, through Tudor Square and to Winter Garden, you will see the BBC TV studio with Hazel and the team and a full-size snooker table to impress your mates on with a series of fun challenges.
You can also pick up some souvenirs. You can’t miss the “Welsh Potting Machine” T-shirts, which is Mark Williams’ nickname, although Welsh snooker fans could be wearing them in support for Jak Jones today too.
But there are plenty of other T-shirts, jumpers, snooker accessories, keyrings, pens, coasters, hats, mugs and much, much more. Basically you can tick off your Christmas present list eight months early.
