Bridge Street in Llanrwst is reported shut with emergency services at the scene

The A470 in Llanrwst has been closed in both directions, after a lorry overturned. Bridge Street is reported to be shut while emergency services work at the scene.
A Traffic Wales statement said: “#A470 Both directions Llanrwst – A55 J19 Glan Conwy Incident at Maenan Overturned vehicle Accident Road closed Local diversions in place Allow extra travel time.”
A later statement added: “A470 Maenan closed in both directions. The A470 near Plas Maenan will be closed as a lorry has overturned and it will take some time to recover the vehicle. Please find an alternative route. Updates to follow.”
