I’m A Celebrity‘s Adam Thomas was reunited with Jimmy Bullard on Friday’s live reunion episode after their huge row, where fellow contestant David Haye also got involved.

During Tuesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, which was pre-recorded last year, the duo had a confrontation during the trial when Adam, 37, and Jimmy, 47, were teamed together.

Following their pairing, Ant and Dec explained how the camp pairs needed to retrieve cogs from an abacus before passing them to their teammates to sprint and place them on a box. The final pair to complete the task would face elimination.

However, as the trial got underway, Jimmy refused to move while the other celebrities got stuck in. A confused Ant and Dec were quick to encourage Jimmy but he remained frozen.

Jimmy admitted: “Boys, I don’t think I’ve got it in me…” while Adam successfully moved the first cog through the abacus. However, the trial was suddenly brought to a halt when Jimmy declared: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”

Adam was left furious over Jimmy’s decision, as it meant he would be leaving the show too as they were together in a pair. The two then got into a heated discussion before Adam broke down sobbing over his unexpected exit.

However, due to the circumstances around Jimmy quitting rather than finishing in last place, Ant and Dec made a U-turn on the show’s rules, asking the fellow contestants whether Adam should remain on the show to which they all agreed he should stay and the former Emmerdale star has made Friday’s live final.

During Friday’s live final, it showed pre-recorded scenes of Adam during his final Trial, where he took part in an eating task. After the scenes aired, Gemma Collins said in the live London studio: “Just forever will be my hero, Adam. You so deserve to win this show. Adam to win!”, adding: “You’ve just done so well, Adam. Just, you’re amazing.”

However, David, 45, who found himself in a “bullying” row with Adam on the show, which he denied, suddenly confronted Adam live on air. Referencing Adam’s row with Jimmy, he said: “Do you think you deserve to win this after calling Jimmy the C-word a couple of times? Do you think you deserve to win it?”

To which Adam hit back with: “After the Trial, I deserve it, yeah.” Hosts Ant and Dec quickly stepped in with Dec saying: “David, we’re going to come to this, we’ll come to this a little bit later!”

However, David didn’t stop as he added: “Don’t you think you should ask Jimmy whether he deserves to win it?” with Ant responding: “We will! We are going to ask Jimmy later and we’ll speak to you as well.”

David then claimed over Adam’s row with Jimmy: “There’s a lot of that stuff cut out of it” to which Ant confirmed: “There was a lot of stuff that was said that was unbroadcastable, which is why, look, we’ll get into all of this later in the show! You’ll all have a right to reply.”

Dec then joked over the awkward interacation: “I knew it was going too smoothly!” to which Ant added: “Yes!”

Since the row aired on Tuesday, Jimmy took to Instagram to share a clip of fellow contestant, Sinitta, claiming the C-word was shouted during the row.

Jimmy penned earlier this week: “Wow thanks @thesinittaofficial shame that wasn’t shown! My version will be told Friday! Can’t wait to see you all….well some of yous!!”

Meanwhile, Adam said of the row to ITV: “It was just really random and unexpected to be honest. I didn’t see it coming. Safe to say, I don’t think I was too happy about it.

“The fact I felt like I was leaving because of someone else just really broke my heart more than anything as I wanted to do my kids proud. Emotions can get the better of you in there and in hindsight, I probably would never have reacted the way I did but I was just really upset.”

David, 45, has since addressed the alleged friction while on the ITV spin-off show, claiming Adam played the “victim card”.

Meanwhile, Adam wrote in a lengthy post on Instagram: “He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I’ve told David this, and he’s apologised, and that’s that! I’ve moved on now, am not one to hold a grudge.”
