Harry Souttar has been handed his first Leicester City start in 853 days as Gary Rowett makes four changes for the final home game of the season against Millwall.

Souttar has not played for City since December 2023, and has not played a competitive match of any kind since rupturing his Achilles on loan at Sheffield United in December 2024.

But having proven his fitness, he comes into City’s back-line to take on promotion-chasing Millwall at the King Power Stadium on Friday night, with Jamaal Lascelles dropping out.

Elsewhere, Harry Winks, who was booed by City fans throughout Tuesday’s 2-2 draw with Hull that sealed relegation, comes into midfield, replacing Jordan James. The Welshman is fit enough to make the bench though.

The final two changes are at the back, with Jakub Stolarczyk replacing Asmir Begovic in goal and Hamza Choudhury coming in for Ricardo Pereira at right-back.

With neither Lascelles nor Joe Aribo in the matchday squad, Bade Aluko and Louis Page are called up.

City (4-2-3-1): Stolarczyk; Choudhury, Souttar, Vestergaard, Thomas; Winks, Skipp; Fatawu, Mukasa, De Cordova-Reid; Daka.

Subs: Begovic, Ricardo, Aluko, Page, James, Ramsey, Mavididi, Monga, Ayew.
